Maybe I missed it. It references an Xbox One yield of 6.2 million.

What is the PS4 production yield?

I guess it doesn't matter. Both will sell out during the holidays.

Good luck finding either until spring of next year eh =)

That's my guess based on my personal tea leaves. Haha. :)

This is probably why people should read the source to detect bias.

The article is clearly biased towards Sony. It says that Sony will produce over a million but also states that Microsoft is under their target of 7 million. By producing an estimated 6.2 million units which may double or triple Sony (no final numbers were given on the article). But no it's Microsoft that has the problem

Aren't these guys the ones saying xbone could be faster then the ps4 bc of 32 mb or ESRAM...??

Why do people continue to support SuckStop by spending their money there?

It's unfathomable.

When will people realize it isn't about the number that ship or are sold...It's about whether either company meets internal, industry & investor expectations/projections that matter.

If investors expect 7 million MS consoles shipped and 2 million Sony consoles shipped, and MS falls short but Sony meets or exceeds expectations...then Sony is in the better position...

Understand, this is an extremely dumbed down example...but generally this is how corporations work and meeting expectations is what they worry about more so. A good example is Square...Their games sell well, but they don't meet investor or company expectations/projections thus they are considered fails. Another great example is the Xbox 360. The failure rate didn't matter that much because the console was not only meeting internal, industry & investor expections...but it was exceeding them by a wide margin.
