Let's establish what can be used to determine console quality for debates.

This sounds more like a coy attempt to start another DesperateMonkey Vs. 8thWonder thread, which are mildly amusing until about 5 or 6 pages in. You guys should get managers and we'll just book these arguments for you guys. You know, give it more publicity.

PS4 advantages:
Vita and Vita TV remote play
Smaller form factor and internal PSU
Bluetooth connectivity
All PS3 headsets and most PS3 peripherals will work out of the box
Cheaper subscription for online play
Less features locked behind paywall
Internal battery for charging controller (and comes with charging cable)
Removable HDD
Backwards compatibility through Gaikai streaming
Can record last 15 minutes of gameplay as opposed to 5 minutes

X1 advantages:
Wifi Direct connectivity
No HDCP, thus supports third party capture devices
One extra USB port
Better packaged chat headset

I know there's some X1 advantages I'm missing. I had more typed up but accidentally clicked the wrong thing and lost what I had written.

Pretty good list so far.

Thank god, HDCP is terrible. So many people couldn't use Netflix or play DVDs because of it.

The problem is that everyone will have their own concept on what are important features to include or exclude in said comparison.

There is no absolute list that can be made here. These are personal entertainment choices for each individual. The items on each list don't carry equal weight to each individual.

In my opinion, this is a fruitless exercise because there can be no consensus reached.

It's a silly (and should be fun) debate but people take it way too seriously.

Can Vita TV really be put as a feature of the PS4? It doesn't come stock and is an additional purchase.

Remove it.

And this brings up another good point. An advantage for X1 is that you can have 6 people play Kinect/motion games with one Kinect -- stocked in every box.

Built in voice features - PS4 has voice controls too with the PS Camera. Granted, we don't know the extent of the voice controls for PS4.
Motion scrolling and shortcuts
SNAP multitasking
HDMI Passthrough
Family Sharing
Rumble Triggers
Dedicated servers - already listed in OP
Azure Cloud gaming support to improve games - Azure and dedicated servers are the same thing
Smart Glass - Sony has the playstation app now which does basically the same things as smartglass

Oh, I forgot about the touchpad on the PS4 controller too. I personally don't think that either the touchpad or the rumble triggers will be used much or used well, but I guess they're both features.
