perhaps on-topic, its a terrible business model, it looks like custom combos might be cool, the interupts but i dont care if its done or not 6-8 fighters is a demo. and 25 bucks 35 bucks for so few is just.. well... terrible. tekken revelution at least had A roster if not a large one, but you had to pay to play(sort-of) unless you just wanted hour or two a day, then you had free tekken 'lite'. still a bad model but waaaay better than 1 guy, waaaay better. 'oooh just buy what you waaaaaant.' ...or not ' oooooh just release a forty character roster game and sell it for 60 like the others and have it be embraced, instead its this
Sorry, but I don't see this business model working well in the long run. It's a shame they're using a beloved franchise like KI to promote it.
Why do you not think the business model is sustainable?
Seems like it'd work fine for a racing game or fighting game to me. I can't see it working with a competitive shooter. I could maybe see it working with an action RPG. Like if a Diablo 3 sort of game came out and the "base" game was free and each class was $10.
