I hope the instruction book for the console is really simple

I just want to open it and plug the cables in and switch on in 2 minutes - you know really easy diagram in the booklet showing what goes where with big green arrows all on one page so you don't have to sit down and read it for half an hour. Childish I know

Trolling? if not you probably shouldn't even need an instruction manual. Even with the littlest bit of electronic hook up knowledge HDMI is fairly self explanatory along with the power. -___-

I remember getting my SNES for Xmas and rushing into my room and thinking I was dead clever being able to hook it all up and get it to work. It's like 2 cables and the controler to plug in

Good news, controllers are wireless now so the burden of plugging in a controller doesn't exist any more

Good news, controllers are wireless now so the burden of plugging in a controller doesn't exist any more


False. The controller needs to be plugged into the console via a usb cable before the controller will function with the system. :)
