Ryse running at 900p/30fps

Unacceptable for supposed next gen hardware to not be able to handle 1080p/30fps. That is supposed to be hte minimum. Sub-1080p should really only happen in special cases or when a demanding game is trying to hitting 60fps.

Agree. Such a shame, next gen =(

"The Xbone is the only TRUE Next gen console. The PS4 is just a PS 3.5"

Aaaah, I miss those days.

FYI there's only one exclusive next gen retail game that has been confirmed to be 1080p and 60fps, and that's Forza 5. Resolution and framerate will get better as developers get more experience with the new hardware.

Lol, it is supposed to be 720/60fps or 1080/30fps.

Ryse fails both standards.

Killzone Shadow Fall will have 1080p/60fps in multiplayer. Drive Club is targeting 60fps, but they are cutting it close.

Also, unless you're sitting ridiculously close to huge TVs you can't distinguish the difference between 720p and 1080p anyways. You'd have to be even closer to distinguish the difference between 900p and 1080p.

Killzone is targeting 60fps for multiplayer but they haven't gotten there yet, and may not at all.

It is already hitting 60fps, but it is locked yet. Plus that was from a 1 month old demo. Guerrilla games are VERY good at the technical aspects of games so I am not worried about them having it ready at launch.

I can tell 720p from 1080p EASILY watching movies on my 42'' screen. I don't see why games would be any different.
