I'd be guessing Halo 5, Forza 5, COD Ghosts. Diablo 3 if it ever gets ported.

They pretty much killed split screen in many games last gen even in gens were it makes absolutely no sense. Racing games without split screen is just dumb and that genre pretty much died for me last gen.

This gen however it's about removing single player from games and forcing online multiplayer on everyone. More or less if your system isn't online you won't be able any of these multi centered cloud games. Basically just Microsoft forcing that always on check-up deal as they just repackaged it with online only games.

Also I know that fancy invasive camera which has features which really makes no sense for gaming at all is apparently powerful. But not sure if it can handle four people simultaneously in split screen co-op either.

I'd say maybe Wii U and the PS4 will be the more couch friendly consoles this generation.

Splitting the screen means rendering the game twice, it's basically like running two copies of the game on the same console.

Since developers would rather have the game looking as good as possible, a lot of them have shy'd away from split screen, due to the fact they'd have to lower the games visuals significantly to support it.

It's annoying cos they keep saying a main feature for Kinect is to detect who is player 2, and switch the screens accordingly.

Rendering it twice at half the resolution. Along with several computations being shared between the two screens since you're playing on the same map. So it's not nearly as taxing as running two copies at once at native resolution.

Halo 4 still looks great split screen 4 ways.

Yeah thats probably the best looking game on the 360 and you can have 4 screens! All the gears are lovely and that lets you splitscreen as well.
