So DRM is coming back to the Bone before the gen is over. Tell us something we didn't know.

Cheaper games ain't gonna happen, especially with MS bro. Look at day one download prices. If any thing the prices will stay high. Look at 4 year old 360 games in the store. You chasing a pipe dream.

All digital is the future for every major gaming platform; and you better believe DRM will come along with it.

All digital? You mean, I won't be able to trade in games I don't play anymore?

Microsoft had that part solved too. Then the internet through a hissy fit and we lost that innovation.

When everything goes digital, there would really be no point in consoles anymore.

The main selling point of consoles was that they were NOT a PC.

Now that they're trying so hard to be a PC, there's no reason not to get a PC instead.

digital games are supposed to be cheaper
what's the point then if the price is still $60 when the physical all gone
so i believe ms has some plans to make digital games cheaper, except if ms wants to monopolize games sale

Entitled much, digital games do not HAVE to be cheaper. Games cost 2x as much to make as they did when the $60 price was made the standard.

come on
physical is priced at $60 and digital is priced at $50, makes sense right?

No. You're getting the same product. You sacrifice the case, disc, and manual for the convenience of not having to go to the store or putting the disc in.

Would digital have to be cheaper for me to consider it? Definitely. Does it have to? No. Some people prefer digital, and will pay full price for the convenience.

This is the exact scenario I am in. Frankly, having hundreds of boxes isn't pragmatic for me any more. Add this to the real possibility of family sharing with my friends and family and going all digital is a no brainer.
