Why are PC gamers so mad?

If console games sell a lot more, usually, than PC games... then the DLC buys would heavily favor consoles and make the divide bigger.


I wouldn't say so. Just look at how people react if you propose the idea of a digitally-focused console. A lukewarm reaction would be the best-case scenario.

Contrast it to PC where practically everything is digital. Aside from a handful of massively popular games (mostly Activision Blizzard products), the shelf is rather small. Even if you wanted to purchase physical units, you'd be unable to.
