Microsoft has never won a generation in terms of sales, will that change?

They outsold Sony consoles this gen every year for a few years. Not bad at all. It'll sell fine if pre order numbers are anything to go by. Where I live, there isn't any single place within 50 miles that has ANY pre orders available for it, but there are still PS4 ones left, but they'll be gone soon too. So I must wait :/

Might want to check again. 360 only outsold the PS3 in America/UK, if you check the total hardware sales the PS3 passed the 360 since January.

Ps3 outsold 360, but theres more software sales for 360 than ps3 because some people bought ps3 for a bluray player and never bought games for it. And ps3 outold 360 in a lot of countries besides us uk so they probably rarely buy games too because...

Sony promised 30 first year exclusives for ps4 first year. Too bad they are mostly indy titles.

I like how people think the answer is a definite no.

You never know, people. Just look at the PS3. No one ever thought that it would ever catch up to the 360, but it finally did.

Actually we knew since the ps3 always sold at a faster rate that the 360. Also Sony did what MS always fails to do... Keep pumping out good games for the entire generation. MS likes to cut and run when it makes its little buck.

Xbone won't fail because its Xbone. It will fail because of MS's ethics when it comes to the gaming industry. They simply just suck.

I don't know about early sales, but the 360 has been the top selling console per month for the past 32 months, so I don't see why anyone saw the PS3 coming out on top.

360 had an 8 month head start with a 7 million console lead. No way on earth PS3 beat the 360 while selling at a slower rate. Sony overcame the largest deficit in console history by churning out good games.
