Why do Sony even try with PS+?

Any real gamer that wants to really play a game would have played it when it was released and not when it was made free. Take me for instance. Oh I really wanted to play Dragons Dogma DA. And when it was released Apr 23 I did. Not September.

So I do not care about a couple old free games because if they were worth playing I would have already.

Now Xbox Live was worth the money because it is a great service. See PSN users do not know what a good service is and Sony needs money for online so they made a pay service for PSN and threw in some free games. Why you might ask? Because without free games nobody would pay for it especially those with Xbox Live gold memberships.

The thing is, Sony is giving 2013 games, 2013! Thereīs no need to do that at all. The PS4 will have Drive club and new PSN games for free with PS+, why bleed for your customers when your customers are fine with 2006 games?

I mean instead of giving real value for your money, they couldīve just let your play online for the fee.

When you get used to being treated a certain way, it is easy to take it for granted.

Granted?

They PAY for it.

And xbox players pay for gold in order to get games for gold. What does that have to do with anything?

Playstation plus members have gotten used to those kinds of releases, and they have started to take them for granted. The releases could go back to 2 or 3 little psn release, and watch them complain. XBL members have never had anything like this before, so they are thrilled with anything they get. If games for gold goes on long enough, and the quality of games stay the same or improve, they will get the same way. "ugh.. *insert successful popular game here* for free? I already have that game.. worst update ever!

No. It's a service rendered for payment. If the service value changes positively and then negatively then any particular customer has every right to air a grievance about the negative shift.

You also need to keep ps+ to be able to play the games. Not with Xbox gold. But the Xbox games have sucked so far

I disagree, they've released a bunch of good games, though most of them are older. I just like the Xbox live gold games more simply because I actually own them, I can play them offline, I can play them even if my subscription expires, even if the servers go down I can still play them because I own them.

Not to mention that almost all the games on the PSN I've already bought so I personally don't get a value.

But if your someone who always renews their subscription and doesn't buy a whole lot of games then PS Plus is the better value.

You do not own your Xbox 360 Gold games, you got the permission to use the license that enable you to play their games (we are in the Xbox One board).

For what I know PS+ games can also be played offline, even when the servers goes down.

I don't really want to play DD, which is why I haven't bought it. But now I get to try it anyway, and who knows, I might like it.

Thinking isn't that hard. You should try it.

They're not "giving" you the games, you're renting them, and when you stop paying for the service you get bupkis. Games with Gold are actually given for keeps.

Rainbow Six: Vegas? Really? Please tell me it's at least the second one.

No. That's it.

It's like Microsoft is adding insult to injury.

So you are honestly saying if you got given access to 4 games (often top games) a month you wouldn't play them, at all?

All this so called true gamer tag you gave yourself is certainly the minority. Not everyone had the money or time to play every game they like the look of. Some of us have a work and have a life outside video games.

PS+ members this month will receive: Dragonīs Dogma: Dark Arisen, Far Cry 3, SxT, Dark Giana Sisters and Touch My Katamari.

And thatīs the usual "Is okay I guess...." PSN users will have.

Xbox Gold users will receive: Rainbow Six: Las Vegas

And the response is "MS can I lick your shoes?"

So clearly Sony is crazy here. Why do they even try to please their customers?

I'll take xbox live over psn any day. Don't need old crap games. Want a good online infrastructure for multi player and don't want to get hacked.

I really don't see PS+ and XBL as competing services. I don't know why people make them out to be.
