Reasons not to buy Xbone:

Lack of first party developers
Weak hardware
XBL is a ripoff
Controller still uses AA batteries and overpriced charge kits
It's ugly
Kinect is still terrible for gaming

You should do neither.

Do not buy the Xbox One, It isn't cost effective.

Console costs more money than the PS4.
Has inferior specs to the PS4.
Internet Subscription Service costs more than PS4.

If you choose not to pay for the Internet Subscription Service the PS4 will allow you to use many apps that are paywalled on the Xbox One.

Supporting the Xbox One sends the industry a message that inferior tech with higher prices is an acceptable practice that more businesses should adopt.

If you like the device and want it, get it.

If you do not like it, or feel somewhat indifferent, then choose otherwise.

Use that 3 pound glob of meat inside your skull and make your own choice.
