You do realize that the ONLY reason this crap game got attention was do to it's pretty graphics right? Graphics consist primarily of those triangles. The one thing this game had going was that it looked good and now people are finding out that Cytec is doing a bait and switch. Main character poly count cut by almost half. HALF!!

This game is gonna flop so hard.

YOu need to get yoru eyes checked.
I'm not saying the PS4 will look much better, but that looks very console neutered.

85k is actually a pretty good amount as it is, at that point it would probably be more worthwhile to apply additional shaders and surface effects than just upping the number of polygons. I'd like to see an actual comparison between the new and old character models though, and just where the reduction took place.

I'd like to see other stats about the models though for curiosity's sake. Texture resolutions, etc.

I'm ok with the reduced amount of detail as long as the game is able to run at 60fps with micro or no jaggies.

It's not about the amazing graphics, it's about the desperate Fanboys who keep trudging up useless facts to justify buying a weaker more expensive console that's loaded up with paywalls.

Remember these little gems?

"I'm buying Xbone for Ryse and Ryse alone! It has the most detailed character ever."

Everything that the Fanboys have been using to justify their purchase is dissipating right in front of their eyes. Ryse keeps getting worse and worse, bad combat, 900 p, misconstructions, lower than trumpeted pixels.

I wonder what other bad news are in store for this game, hmmm . >:)

Ok, see. This is bulls*** Microsoft! Now the entire realism of the historic battle between the Barbarian Triangles and the Roman Empire. In reality, this fight lasted centuries and took a toll on both factions and some historians cite the Triangles as being the downfall of the Roman Empire and now the entire scale, and therefore the history of this great fight, is just utterly destroyed!
