X1 running Windows 8 games/apps?

ďAnd the apps posted in here are not only here, but could be expanded to full screen as well. Itís using Windows, so the development technology used for that is about the same as Windows 8. Windows apps are basically developed in whatís called Visual Studio. Furthermore, if anyone develops a game for Windows 8, they can take that game with almost the exact same code, to the Xbox One. Itís up to the developer if they want to or not.

It seems like practically anything, game or app, can also work on the X1 with MINIMAL changes to the code. I'm actually more excited about the strong possibility of it running W8 apps. X1 seems more and more like a multi-purpose gaming device every day.

Or actually own it and recognize it has some serious faults.

Windows 8 is faster and more stable than Windows 7.The interface is obviously different, and not to my taste, but anyone who says Windows 8 sucks, knows nothing about it, or hasn't used it.

8 is fine, it's nowhere near as bad as Vista was to XP,

7->8 is barely recognizable in all honesty, I've only had to jump through a couple compatibility hoops, but that's more the fault of the software developers than the OS.

On topic: The Xboxone seems to keep trying to branch out to do everything, when they keep failing to focus on.... Console gaming.

That's SO true! People hate change so much! I'm guilty of it too lol. I don't usually like getting new programs on my computer and whatnot, but I also don't wanna be like my parents. They're stuck in the 80s. They don't understand anything that came out after that. So I kinda force myself to try new things.
