Nintendo usually releases their games on a Sunday, but it's quite funny that they are launching their biggest Wii U game of the year (Super Mario 3D World) and the 3DS's The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the Friday that the Xbox One releases.
Clearly they are battling for 2nd place and taking Xbox One head on because they already feel the PS4 is getting first place. Nintendo's way of survival will be staying ahead of the Xbox One and trying to give it as many blows in the process since it's not in the best position --- PSVita & 3DS
Sony is already taking out Microsoft, might as well take ouya down too.
Yeah those preorders helped the vita a lot too. Also losing money on a console while the competition is not is a winning strategy that worked great for the ps3.
Sony always wins! I do think the ps4 is the superior indie machine over the ouya but costs too much.

Ouya is dead in the water.
Seriously, just look at reviews. The controller sucks, the games don't even perform on par with their phone counter parts, support is already worse than vita. --- Games I'm currently playing: Final Fantasy 9 (ps1), Serious Sam 3 BFE (pc)

Super Mario 3D World is everything that's wrong with Nintendo nowadays.
Well, besides overpriced controller gimmicks.
