For now I just won't go next gen. Xbox One is definitely out of the cards and I won't get the PS4 until I see how others feel about it.

Seeing how the Cloud is so heavily emphasized with the One, I don't feel like it'll be a reliable system after experiencing all the problems the Cloud is causing with GTA V online.

I guess Sony is extra thankful now that they see the problems that can result from heavy dependency on the Cloud. Just another problem MS has to deal with when it comes to their next console.

Who cares...

You cared enough to take time out your day to tell me you don't care. That's good enough for me keyboard warrior.

I understand that concern TC.

The Cloud's dependence on the internet makes it a liability.

GTA Online isn't why the Cloud is a load of crap.

The reason it's a load of crap is because a single PCIe 3.0 lane has an actual (non-theoretical) speed of about 985 MB/s (That's BYTES) and the fastest internet in the country is 1 Gbps (which is roughly 125 MB/s).

Azure will be great for dedicated servers, but the latency involved means it can't be used for graphical rendering applications.

TL;DR: The Cloud is perfectly fine, but the "Power of the Cloud" is a load of nonsense.

Actually people don't think that but Sony fanboys like to keep bringing that up when no one really believes that.

but to say cloud has zero benefits is ignorant and I await the announcement about cloud stuff from sony so all the fanboys can do their 180s
