So the power of the cloud is all bark and no bite

Go to any GTA Online board and you'll see how many problems the oh so mighty cloud causes. If MS is smart, they'll sever their ties with this cloud mentality while there is still time. It's hard to pull a 180 after a console releases.

Then play games that don't need to have any internet connection at all ever and you'll be okay if you think their servers will just massively fail.

Cloud computing is pretty much useless for gaming and will remain useless for many years to come due to latency and bandwidth issues.

What's obvious at this point is that the concept of cloud computing looks uncertain and unlikely, and Microsoft needs to prove its claims with actual software
Microsoft needs to prove its position with strong ideas and practical demonstrations. Until then, it's perhaps best not to get too carried away with the idea of a super-powered console, and there's very little evidence that Sony needs to be worried about its PS4 specs advantage being comprehensively wiped out by "the power of the cloud".

Yeah, because you know better than the people who have spent 35-45 billion dollars the past 5 years on the cloud and continue to invest 90% of their R&D budget on it.

You mean those people who practically tanked their Xbox division because of stupid ideas until they saw a poll on Amazon?

Now go sit in the corner.

I do.

Servers do regularly massively fail.
