Hello, rokien here, I hope all is well!

so what are 5 good reasons to buy what console?

5 good reason NOT to buy one?

I'm looking for a response from both sides, as I know people are still having a tough time to decide, this is your chance to get people like me on the Xbox or PS side.

We don't know what you want, so how can we convince you? Doing your own research is better than listening to the opinions of others.

For me its really just two factors.

1. Depends on what my friends get.
2. Depends on how the release goes for both systems.

I'm waiting a month or two to buy one because I think both releases will have issues and I want to see what people actually think of them. I pretty much only play games online so I want to see how the severs are and I have learned from releases of other products that they never work right immediately. I am leaning towards the xb1 because I got a lot of enjoyment out of the previous console and like the things they are trying to do with this one. If the release goes poorly I will go with the PS4.

PS4:

Cheaper
More Indie Support
Playstation Plus is generally more profitable than Live
PS Plus is only required for online game, not apps
More reputable at the moment

One:

Seems to have the better AAA exclusives, though that's opinion, of course
Going off of previous history, Live is more stable than PSN
Better controller, imo
Kinect is probably better than the Move at what it does.

Otherwise, it's personal preference for the exclusive and first party games.

I'm going for the PS4, personally.

Look at the list of games announced for each one. Choose which system has what you're looking for. Buy that one.

To buy each:

PS3-
Cheaper and more powerful. More bang for your buck.

PSN is completely comparible to Xbox Live as far as features and performance right now, plus you only pay for MP and a big selection of game downloads.

Remote play with Vita If you have, or will be getting one. Also, Gaikai.

Much bigger selection of games at launch window with 49 games.

Better support by developers and just overall better first party games.

X1-

Kinect offers some cool features such as snap and running multiple apps at once.

More dedicated servers if you like online play.

More big budget games at launch.

More popular brands such as halo and Forza.

They will be easier to find with such a low opinion and demand.

Not to buy each:

PS4-

Launch lineup is mostly indie games and F2P if that matters to you.

No mention of dedicated servers for third party games yet.

X1-

Nickel and dime services such as paying for apps and web browsing on Xbox Live

Built with advertising in mind so that Live will be cluttered with useless junk

The inevitable switch back to DRM and old BS policies.

Kinect comes with the system and will hardly be supported, also it still has a number of performance issues.

System will not be complete on launch with a lot of the features coming at a later date.

Far worse first party support.

I can go on but you should do a little more research on both. The X1 is a lot easier to come up with reasons not to buy and harder too find reasons to buy it. The PS4 is just overall a much better deal right now.

Xbox One

More Next gen games, to me this is the most important thing.
Better online quality and security
Kinect is really the only motion control/voice command device getting any support
Xbox is usually the front runner in bringing extra services
The standard headset is better and the sound quality has been improved for next gen

PS4

Cheaper, don't care personally but most people seem to
Hardware is slightly better, exaggerated by most but still a fact
A lot of free to plays, if your down on cash
More indies if your into that
Streaming services, but Most streaming services fail for a number of reasons so I'm not holding my breath.

I actually have 33 reasons in favor of X1: http://www.oxm.co.uk/61886/features/the-xbox-one-33-things-you-need-to-know/

Dost thou even hoist?
Dead Rising 3 and Assassin's Creed 4 are already a done deal!
