MS says they won't sell you information, then they say they will?

Hilarious, since all Sony fanboy topics preface themselves these days with "whoever disagrees is attacking me, Whaaa!".

Lets pretend its original and that this is such a unique and not just the usual trolls patting themselves on the back for no reason.

Just ignore this guy, he's a well known troll on the Wii U boards and really has something agaist sony consumers.

Yeah, they keep lying to people's face and expect them to trust MS putting a camera in their home.

It's ridiculous.

Yeah, thats why on the PS4 boards, I am known for defending the Playstation! Lol what a joker. Also, before I bashed the Wii U, I was praising it too. Before and after launch, I was a one man army FOR the Wii U and the Tablet controller against all the real trolls who complained about it.

You know what they say about ass-umptions!

That sounds perfectly plausible and I actually believe. When you take everything in the correct context then this becomes what it says it is.

I do fear that since a few users here used this to point out that MS constantly lies "just look, they said this then 48h later they said this!" they they will ignore this or simply call them liars just to maintain their original argument instead of admitting that they were wrong about this.

As I was going up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. I wish, I wish he'd go away.

But then there's still this:

http://www.dualshockers.com/2013/10/03/microsofts-albert-penello-clarifies-use-of-kinect-for-advertising-and-how-biometric-data-is-collected/

Third: “biometric” data is pretty open-ended. For instance, we collect voice samples today if you opt-in (just like every phone does as well) to help improve the accuracy of the voice models.

Which means that, once again, one of them is lying and there is data being collected.

How much did Merriam-Webster pay you for the picture of yourself that's next to the term "Selective reader" in their dictionary?

What's your point?

They're collecting voice samples, which Penello admits.

As far as I know, the only data we collect is Voice, via opt-in. If I’m incorrect on that, then I’ll update when I know differently. Otherwise, I believe that the page I linked you would have the most detailed information.

Meanwhile, the other guy says they aren't collecting anything.

See how that contradicts?

Which other guy, when?

I used to have a app on the 360 that sent samples to Microsoft in order to make the Kinect better.
Just Saiyan.

Did you even bother to read the post I was replying too?

This article says they're not collecting any kinect data:

Here, Penello says they are collecting voice chat data:
