I absolutely despise racing games that aren't 60 fps.

It 's not noticeable. The 30 vs 60 frame rate is a non-issue brought up by a small, but vocal, minority to try to prove some unknown point.

Bayonetta on the 360 and PS3 would like to have a word with you, especially the poorly optimised PS3 version.

TC, for the record, Drive Club may end up being 60 FPS. They've said that they're at the point where they're just debating on if they want 30 FPS and more detail or 60 FPS and less detail.

So you havent been able to handle any of those genres games on any console ever? So you only play on pc? And you are thinking of switching for this gen?

If you are playing on your own, framerates are as good as you are willing to compromise for.

That aint the case for competitive games. Each framerate increase means smoother and quicker response. This is why people prefer to have certain genres of video games to exceed 60fps.

Games i prefer with high framerates are sports, fighting, multiplayer firstperson shooters and racing.

Really? Because NFS: Most Wanted, Sonic All Stars Racing, Forza Horizon and PGR are all fantastic racers IMO.

Forza Horizon is a good racer that could of been great playing at 60fps. Games like Sonic & All Star Racing Transformed are 10x better on the PC because of the framerate alone. A big thing to is many of these games don't even play at a consistent 30fps so when you play a game at a rock solid 60fps(even up to 120fps in some cases for me) it's a huge difference.

It took me about two days to get used to GTAV's framerate. That sucker was easily in the lower 20's a lot of the time. Didn't stop me for enjoying what is overall still a great game, but it just makes me want a PC version that much more.
