The PS4 gpu is the equivalent of an AMD 7850, a low level PC GPU. The xbox is something a little less. Both PS4 and X1 are quite under powered at launch, unlike previous generations where they were equal to high level PCs. You can build a PS4 PC for around $450. Not that any of this is bad per-say, however considering this generation is supposed to last for 10 years it's quite a sad picture for console gaming's future. I was very excited for the X1 since the 360 is a dinosaur, however with the released specs of both PS4 and X1 being so low I think I'm going to pass altogether. I would put money on this being the last generation for console gaming. PCs are just too far ahead.

Im not sure who is sadder, tc or soultrapper. Although I wouldnt be surprised if they are the same person. If anyone wanted to see the gpus they would look it up. Gfaqs should arrange it so topics on this board have to be approved
Sony promised 30 first year exclusives for ps4 first year. Too bad they are mostly indy titles.
And high end PCs stomp all over both the XB1 and PS4. But all that graphical horsepower won't help PCs play games that are not made for it. Most gamers buy consoles for the exclusives not the hardware. I'd buy a PS4 if it had exclusives I want to play but unfortunately it doesn't. This isn't rocket science.
