So the Kinect will make the ads even worse on the Xbone?

Everybody complains about the ads on the 360 but now I hear that Kinect 2.0 will spy on everyone and have even more ads. This is a huge invasion of privacy if true.

How does spying on ppl create more ads? If anything, spying on ppl will alter the kinds of ads you see, not change the amount.

Because if you're fat and have acne you will get ads for skin cream and subway, a fat guy without acne will just get the subway ads.

Yes the Kinect is built for advertising but the spybox complaint is a non-issue as everything in your home already has the capability of doing the same thing.

The opposite is true actually. I will opt in for targeted advertising and finally get relevant ads instead of random ones. But if you want random ads you don't have to opt in.

There is a way to opt-in for no ads, it's called turn off your tv/computer and don't go anywhere outside that people tend to go to.

^ How is this not a good thing? I'd rather get a Preparation H ad because I made a hemorrhoid joke in front of the Kinect than get a random Kotex ad for no reason at all.
