Hold the phones, unless my eyes deceive me this is a Dev topic and there was no mention of the PS4 or anything negative said about the Xbox One...

What is your angle? *squints eyes vigilantly*

I think you're thinking of Dev0311.

Maybe they're the same person but idk, I haven't checked these boards in awhile.

Must be his twin brother whom he was separated at birth with. One grew up in a standup household with strong moral values that embody American exceptionalism while the other grew up with... A Playstation.

Which just means Microsoft can choose to shut down a game's multiplayer.

An intelligent person would have surmised that it actually means they're more likely to keep servers up longer since games no longer require specific physical servers to run. But yeah, go ahead with your idiotic theory instead.

Which means they can switch these servers off any time they wish. And, as history shows us, Micro & Soft a very fond of shutting down servers.

just? no, it means far more than just that.

Not really when there will still be player hosted games, just ms will add some servers for people to join on. Pretty simple. Not shocked you couldnt realize that.

They have virtual servers so they can ramp up/tone down at any time. Tone down as in have one to two servers ready for the fifteen people trying to play Madden 25 in 2019. (well Not Madden since EA does its own servers)
