Last I checked, F2P games were complete. Tell me how KI is not a demo again?

1 character to choose from- BOOM, FREE TO PLAY GAME!!!!!! Not a demo at all.... Its SOOOO freee that you have to pay over 2x a retail game price to get the whole full experience of a full game...in 2 YEARS!!!!

F2P games are not complete, they are chalked full of Micro transactions.

I personally like the payment model of Killer instinct, if your super into the game then buy the full version, if your not then don't.

you're right, unless you love jago, then you're set. they should have done what powerstar golf did. no money necessary.

Even the tekken 3 demo on the original play station had 2 characters. Ki is just one character and it's a "complete f2p game"? Hahaha if that's the case then all demos that were ever made are technically f2p games :)

F2P games are always limited. They're designed to get people to spend more than they would've paid fr the game to begin with. Candy Crush on tablet is also a prime example of this. Instead of charging $3, they get you to double or triple that through in-game purchases.

It's unfortunately the future of gaming, and we'll see alot of it on 8th gen consoles.

$20 is 2x a retail game price? I'm confused.

Considering the devs themselves have said the "free" download is just an extensive demo and not F2P, I'm not sure what the argument here is.

"I just want to get as many people playing as I can," Lobb explained. "Some people are like, 'oh, free-to-play.' No. It's not free-to-play.

With the free download you get 1 character which is Jago to start but will rotate. And you also get all game modes.

For $20 you get all 8 characters and game modes.

For $40 you get all 8 characters, game modes, alternate costumes, all accessory packs, early access to future costume and accessory packs, future characters and the original Killer Instinct.

If you go the f2p route, each character will cost $5.

"Complete" is an antiquated concept with regards to video games.

I won't. I don't fall for that scam.
