Now I hate to call it F2P games because they are not free and I had enough F2P games on iOS. Either release a demo and then the full game or don't release anything at all. Dont force the player into buying so many items where he ended paying more than the price of a retail game!

I loathe F2P, but like Zynga's trash, it's mostly a fad. The bubble will burst, or at the very least its fans will flock incredibly selectively from one fad to the next making it a horrible model in the long-term, fraught with nearly as much risk as the more traditional alternatives. It's the MMO market redux, it will implode.

This is the ironic part, gamers don't like it, developers know it is kind of cheating their gamers yet the industry is promoting this model heavily next gen. The word FREE is misleading and shouldn't not be used in such sentence.

If players didn't want it, F2P wouldn't be a successful model.

I'd let bambi die... just sayin.......

I like free to play.

And commercials on TV wouldn't piss me off so much if I wasn't paying 100 bucks a month for TV. When netflix for 8 bucks, gives me lots of stuff to watch, when I want it, and without commercials.

What if the F2P game is more expensive than the retail game?
Why should we call it free anyway?

My problem is not with the model but the way this bussiness model being handled and advertised.

Buying a T.V or Netflex is different because You have options, here you get surprises unless they give you a clear list of what to buy and where this FREE GAME ends!

There are plenty of F2P games on PC that use a fair model. Not everyone is terrible at it.
