Yes, MS will sell no consoles and hammer a "closed" sign to their gates and then open a lemonade stand outside.
I would love to drink Ballmer's lemonade
The thought of showering in it as he cascades it over us, is a glimmer of heaven.

There are 13 idiots at the moment. Seriously it'd have to be one of the biggest failures(especially since MS isn't just your every day company) ever to not live that long.

The console could fail to sell a single unit and it would still be at E3 2014. --- [LanParty nF4 Ultra-D] [AMD64 3700+ San Diego] [2x 1gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8] [2x 250gb Barracuda] [Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS] [X850XTPE]

Of course...they have the money to fund it and the marketing tactics to get people interested.

Of course it will. My question is......will E3 2014 be yet another year of Kinect flapping around in your face?
Did you watch the recent Microsoft E3? It was a ton of AAA exclusives, I don't remember seeing a Kinect only game in the Lineup.
If Microsoft has an E3 similar to the one they just had games wise, then The Xbox One is set to occupy most of my gaming time.
