You were asking for proof of any realistic benefit beyond data storage and dedicated servers. Go back and read what you wrote.

Yes, for xbox games.

If you think that having server-side AI calculations that certain types of games like MMOs wouldn't even be able to function properly without aren't a realistic benefit, I don't know what to tell you.

That's great for MMOs, but they're not actually going to do much for most xbox games.

Again, you're talking about things completely out of context.

The cloud offers great benefits to people using Word as well, but this doesn't actually do anything for the xbox games.

Hmm strange...... google seems to disagree with you..... maybe they to are paid off by MS to say these things? O wait, that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.

"damn, those computer science nerds, and their knowledge about stuff. Better try to discredit the poster instead of the post!" "maybe I'll post that same article for the 10th time, yeah that'll work :>( "

You are aware those guys are running android games and apps, right?
Are you seriously comparing the latency of android games AI to that of a game like CoD, which requires ?

That's the same argument your buddy chewy is making: it makes no sense in this context.

You're talking about latency when driving your bike, while you should be talking about latency when operating a jet.

That's actually a good idea:

What's obvious at this point is that the concept of cloud computing looks uncertain and unlikely, and Microsoft needs to prove its claims with actual software. Yet based on what we've been told, the firm itself isn't sure of what uses to put it to, while the limitations of latency and bandwidth severely impede the benefits of all that computing power.

See below. These benefits can apply to Xbox games.

Why can Xbox games not be MMOs? Don't you know that multiple announced titles are MMOs? How are MMOs comparable to word?

I've always wondered how the term "Sony Pony" is even a synonym of some sort for a Sony Fanboy. At least "Xbot" makes sense because Xbox Fanboys like Desperatemonkey and Exodus are mindless drones who rush to Microsoft's defense because that's what their makers and faulty brains want them to do.

But Pony? What, are people just... Galloping to Sony's defense? Is that the joke?

That was just painful... This must have sounded much more clever in your head.

Weren't we just talking about Drivatars being AI made in the Cloud? How did we get to CoD? Its kind of sad watching you flop like this...

Your getting kinda desperate dude. If you had watched those vids, or the many others out there that you could find on your own, you would know they mentioned supporting PC apps, console games, and iOS platform. Getting a little tired spoon feeding you this information.

You keep quoting one article from six months ago but conferences held by major tech companies, that are being held specifically to roll out what they can do for actual devs you dismiss. Those presentations are not even done for average consumer Joe.

Why you think cloud services would work for programs on PCs, tablets, but not consoles is absurd.

Here is another vid for ya, I think it pretty accurately describes what you been saying:

Personal Insult LOL... wow.

A personal insult would be if I came in here insulting you or your mother or something. But I didn't. I came in here wondering how the term "Sony Pony" even makes sense as a term for Sony Fanboys when "Xbot" actually makes sense.

How on Earth is that a "personal insult"?

Just goes to show your lacking intelligence.

Oh, wait a second, I think I get it.

Are you taking it as a personal insult because you yourself are an Xbot?

At least you've come to accept it. Kudos to you!
