What kind of BS is this? I play on a monitor with no speakers! I use my TB Tango!!

Yes this is correct. It's just not ready yet, but it will eventually come.

Seems weird for an adapter to get a delay.

If your TV has a headphone out port you can hook you current gen Turtle Beaches into that and use the mic on the kinect to speak if you absolutely MUST have these headphones before the adapter comes out or if you dont buy a new set

This is sort of bs. The kinect mic better not sound anywhere near what the 360's sounds like. I can't stand when people use those things. Automatic mute right there.

If I don't reply to your post it's because I have you on my ignore list.

I knew once I stopped hearing anything about the adapter that it would not be out at the launch. Since both Turtle Beach and Polk Audio are licensed partners releasing headsets designed for the One I knew that adapter would not be out. I mean if they made it available who would actually buy one of the new headsets designed just for the One when you could buy an adapter and use your current headset which may work on various platforms. Since I prefer a gaming headset I went ahead and preordered the Turtle Beach XO7 just to ensure I had a headset that would work for both game audio and chat on day one.

Don't get me wrong, it would be nice, but there was no indication that these kinds of devices would work for future consoles releases. You were buying a headset to work with the current gen in the same way you buy a controller, or charger, or battery. No guarantee to think it would be compatible with the next gen.

You do know this only pertains to Xbox 360 headsets right? Meaning, you'll still be able to use the headset that comes with the console.
