It's a shame the PS4 version has to suffer because of the weaker Xbone hardware.

having flashbacks here...

you guys recall how the Dreamcast got shotty PS1 ports and not one third-party game used the DC's power? not one. please name one as i do not remember. i was a big DC fan. wait, wait. i do recall one third-party game that was like tony hawks pro skater but it was aimed at kids and instead of skate-boarding it was roller blades.

EDIT: not only did the ps1 screw the DC over the ps2 did as well too. mainly the ps2 held back DC's online functions as the ps2 got a lame ass online upgrade what, 2 years after it launched?

you guys recall how the xbox just got straight ps2 ports along with them not being optimized for the xbox? not to mention how said crappy ps2 ports did not use the HDD minus just for saving your game as barley any dev used that ps2 HDD add-on.

you guys recall how sony was so arrogant they thought the ps3 would be the only system left standing right when they launched? though just to make sure if they did have to compete with someone they made the ps3 hard to program for solely just to try and get more third-party exclusives as they were hoping third-party devs would not bother porting their game to the 360 as the whole engine would have to be re-worked and the 360 having a smaller install base would persuade them not to.

i will not bring up how ps3 actually held the 360 back as well only because it didn't effect 360 games that much as 360 was lead platform.

sony since it got into video games has been holding back technology. the only time it did not was in 1995 as ps1 could do better 3d than the saturn. that had more to due with sega messing up and not planning for the future.

it's just funny that for once the tables might (might being a keyword) turn here and other hardware will suffer due to xbox one yet no one brings up what sony has been doing for let's say 15 years?

the real truth? commonsense is boring conversation even more so on gamefaqs. the facts: competition is needed. none of these big corporations give two craps about us. ps4 and their new motto "for the gamers bs" is just that, BS. i include MS and Nintendo as well. they are all out to wipe out their competition and they do not care about gamers.

that does not change the fact however that sony has been the worst of the corporations since the whole monopoly Nintendo had with the NES.

sorry for the novel and bad grammar. i really should make this my sig, ha...

720 vs 900 is a very small gap. The difference, IF you notice it will be very miniscule.+

It's bigger than you might think.

720p = 921,600 pixels
900p = 1,440,000 pixels
1080p = 2,073,600 pixels

900p is 56.25% higher resolution than 720p, while 1080p is 44% higher resolution than 900p.
