Remember when PC games had these big boxes? And manuals were big books? And big pictures of maps/tech trees that you could put up on your walls?
You mean all the stuff they made physical copies of because they couldn't/didn't know how to put all that information in the game itself in a digestible manner? The stuff that was designed to put an image in your mind's eye of what the stuff in the game was SUPPOSED to look like instead of the blocky bulls*** that was actually present? Or explain how the Hell the game actually works because it's an over-complicated unexplained mess without instructions?
