No doubt since june 10th up till they were sold out amazon must have taken literally thousands of xbox one day one pre-orders. Do ya'll think amazon will really be able to cover all their day one orders for release day?

Many preorders were canceled after the Sony press confrence that night, and didn't pick back up until most of the initial policies were changed.

To answe your question, if your ship date says November XX, you are good.

MS announced they planned to have a LOT of supply, I think it was over 5 million consoles. In any case you should be fine, even though Amazon took a lot of preorders, I doubt they take in more than they would have stock of. In any case, can't wait!!

and probably they'll send some out a few days before, and instruct the carrier to delivery on the release date. Can you imagine how many wagons they'll need if they all went out on the same date?

Probably doesn't need proof. Likely many people were waiting to buy a PS4 and then when it got announced they immediately preordered a X1 so it offset.

The heck does that mean?

Anywho, since Microsoft did not release preorder numbers before the policy changes, that proof isn't available to us.....but the fact that Day One orders didn't stop until August should be a telling sign.

Funny, I pre-ordered a PS4 in the middle of August. That should be a telling sign. Heck, the last few days have had PS4s for pre-order on Amazon. That should be a telling sign.
