Original PS4 Controller design borrowed from Xbox ( IGN article inside)

This is a good read on how they acknowledged that the 360 controller was preferred for shooters, they planned on switching the analogs to match the 360 on the new PS4 DS4, But I'm glad they stuck with the PS4 design so it wouldn't be the same as the Xbox One controller. What do you guys think?

Disclaimer: Not a troll/xbot/bronie posts, this is meant to discuss about controllers on both consoles, if you become butt hurt or offended it is not my fault and any post is based of "opinion"

And EP wonders why trolls come to this board.

Every topic he makes involves a comparison between the PS4 at some point.

I prefer the XB controller but the DS is good too - feels a little small and light in comparison.

The new DS looks really great though - with the addition of the screen and all.

It's one of the reasons I like to DS3 because when I play on my PS3 it feels like I'm playing on a PlayStation console, same goes for the Xb, I hope GameStop has the Xbox One or PS4 test units out before launch so I can try out both controllers, The DS always felt lighter to me, and the Xb controller always felt a bit more comfortable.

I've always preferred the duel shock over the Xbox controller just a matter of taste

I know my local gamestop is doing a Pre launch event on the 17th where they will have the X1 console out to play. Not sure if they are doing anything like that with the PS4.

That's just a touchpad - not a screen.

Hey! Well since this is an innocent topic without any subtle jabs at any specific console in any way, let's just talk about these controllers for a bit! (sarcasm) Here's a video where Adam Sessler admits that a symmetrical controller layout is not as he originally thought:

All fanboys are equally terrible. Hypocrisy and double-standards are at every corner, nobody is a saint.

It wouldn't feel right playing Playstation with asymmetrical sticks.

Why are you always so butt hurt over my topics? so I have a different opinion than you do on both consoles, you seem to dislike that for some reason. I like Adam Sessler he's entitled to his opinion ;-)
