RUMOR: Xbox Live and Xbox One OS issues causing delays for post launch games

I cannot understand how this rumour can stand up in light of recent Microsoft video of the OS in action: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/435492/xbox-one-video-shows-kinect-dashboard-navigation/

I am getting both the PS4 and Xbox One and find the bickering quite pointless. You can find anything you WANT to read on the internet to use for your own purposes in an attempt to qualify an argument but the truth is know one should believe any rumours until confirmed. As far as the resolution goes I don't believe this will make any difference to either console, similar to Forbes opinion "The better textures and animations will make next-gen games look decidedly better than their current-gen counterparts regardless of their resolution."
http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2013/10/28/xbox-one-vs-ps4-if-you-really-care-about-video-game-resolution-get-a-gaming-pc/

In defence of the Xbox One which I am looking forward to equally as much as the PS4, it is worth having a read up about directx 11.2 and how that will influence microsofts latest offering using the esram.
This link explains: http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/xbox-one-8450/x1-esram-dx-11-2-from-32mb-to-6gb-worth-of-texture-1448545/

And then the way this is already having an effect on software such as Battlefield 4 which appears to be optimised for the Xbox One
http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/bf4-optimized-for-pc-and-x1-not-for-ps4-due-to-direct-x-11-1-api.453231217/

This now points me to the choice of COD Ghosts on PS4 or Battlefield 4 on Xbox One.

The point is that the constant comparisons from a 'fanboy' point of view will never be constructive or reach a conclusion, buy the console you personally prefer and enjoy it as I believe the future looks bright for both consoles.

Nevermind; You're all victims and your posts here are positive contributions to a board you feel it's your duty to curate. The X1 is just as popular as the PS4, except on this one message board. This place is completely insulated from the outside world, and gamers in general clearly don't have a preference between the two yet. No discussion about anything positive can happen here, and on the off-chance that it can, a troll post will instantly undermine the entire discussion. There is no ignore feature here, and if there was that's not the point; It's that trolls exist, they're here, and they're ruining your day. It's up to you to engage them directly for the good of your peers, and when you're tired of feeding them, constructive complaining is the best course of action.

These issues surfacing with the X1, like Live being a mess, isn't the issue. It's the posters pointing it out that's the real problem. It's best to make this about the trolls/fanboys/posters talking about this rather than Microsoft alienating the fans that stuck by them through the DRM/pricing fiasco and failing them again with an incomplete online service.

Do I win?

So much win in this post.

I'm not disagreeing with 99% of what you're saying, but if you think that 'DASHBOARD VIDEO" is in real time and legit, you are in la-la land. It's no more legit than when MS first showed off Kinect with people doing all sorts of stuff and pretending it was really happening.

While the dash will indeed keep all those features shown, that demo is just edited BS, including the fact of showing him "playing"titanfall, the same clip of titanfall we have all seen 200 times over.

Till we see either sony or MS dash in real time and not some edited PR stunt best not to use it as a backup for the x1 running smoothly.

The XBONE is such a disaster. How can anyone spend $500 on this thing?

I totally agree. All it took was a rumor to convince me too. Screw the news i am just going to vote off the tabloids and what my psychic hotline tell me. Legit sources be damned!
