Microsoft's marketing for BF4 is shady as hell

So, you're complaining about them using a "representation"...when they say it's a representation?? I bet you complain about not being able to do the moves that characters pull-off in real-time trailers too as lies and deceit, since you can't do them in gameplay.

You're probably the sort that complains about a sex-scene in a Mass Effect game not counting as a sex scene since it was not porn.

Xbox One games looked more impressive...but I wish they were on the PS4. **** you Microsoft! \m/ (O_o) \m/

I've never really paid any attention to the Order 1886, it is supposedly a graphical badass masterpiece?

Yes graphically. But all it was being rendered in real time on the PS4 with no game engine or system mechanics in place. it was entirely scripted like an FMV. What's to say it doesn't pull a Ryse and drop resolution 900p because the PS4 can't handle those kinds of graphics when yuo add in the gameplay engine and world and other assets?

Point of this topic is shady business tactics, Microsoft has used a video that has been on Dice's website for a bit now and a few seconds into the video put their disclaimer up. It's practices like this that make me ill, I even hate it when companies spam cinematic of games, even use those are artwork for the box so you're mislead by what the actual game will be like.

Final Fantasy 7's first trailer is the one I always think of when I see cinematics selling a game.

Remember when Sony used the intro to FF7 as a way to sell PS3s in it's "What FF7 will look like on PS3" tech demo?

That wasn't shady??

No that's marketing, companies do this all the time to make their product look the best it can be, companies exaggerate their products because they want you to buy it. Basic Marketing.
Don't know why TC is just realizing Microsoft is doing this, when companies do this all the time.

Both consoles will be native 720p upscaled to 1080p within 2 years.
The sooner fanboys on both sides come to terms with that, the sooner this pissing contest ends and the happier everyone will be.

Of course I know this. It was a question to the TC. The same guy that cries because his burgers don't like how McDonald's advertises them.

I actually do get irritated at that also, you pull up your favorite fast food joint for some insta heart attack, you see this delicious mouth watery photo of what you order. You place your order, you get your food and it's all smashed n s***, seriously, wtf is up with advertisements.

The world we live in is a lie.

TC, if the XBOX One isn't what you imagined it to be I'm sure you can sue them and win.
Hell, you can probably sue Sony for not having the Blu-Ray player work on the first day like advertised on the box.
