So I guess all that talk about the power of the cloud was all a sham then?

What happened to all those billions of little transistors? 720p? How am I supossed to trust anything those MS rep tools say anymore? This reminds me of blast processing on the Sega Genesis.

BF4 doesn't use cloud processing from Azure.

And it may be 720p but it obviously has better upscaling to make both versions nearly identical.

Shouldn't we be asking if "50% more power" is a sham?

Of course it was a sham. No one reasonable believed cloud processing could increase graphic fidelity.

The cloud servers are just dedicated servers. That's all they've been since day one. Titanfall is going to be using some type of AI though for the game (aka bots) but that's about it. It's mostly dedicated servers for games if the devs want to use them.

If developers don't want to harness infinite cloud power then it makes me a little skeptical.

The console isn't out yet where the masses can toy around with, and here you are claiming it's a sham and failed...seriously man what's your agenda here, how about you wait until the console releases and we have some game play testing with the cloud ourselves.

Except this game was probably heavily into development before it became available.

If you'd like to say cloud doesn't make a difference wait for a game that claims to use cloud processing and then you can claim that. You can't just say, welp, guess cloud computing isn't real because these particular games didn't use them.

You also don't respond to where all that 50% power went to just dominate the other version.

Both versions are fine, stop claiming there are major things wrong with either when there aren't and stop claiming cloud computing is a failure when there's no evidence so far to say one way or the other.

To be fair, the PS4 version is pushing 50% more pixels onto the screen at a higher framerate.

How about that 1080p Battlefield game for PS4? Are both systems not good enough? Seriously though shut up people...lol.
