So I guess all that talk about the power of the cloud was all a sham then?

BF4 doesn't use cloud processing from Azure.

And it may be 720p but it obviously has better upscaling to make both versions nearly identical.

Shouldn't we be asking if "50% more power" is a sham?

To be fair, the PS4 version is pushing 50% more pixels onto the screen at a higher framerate.

And when upscaled they look exactly the same. It doesn't impact how the game looks really at all.

My point is there are people who would have you believe that 50% more power was going to lead to making the PS4 version as good as any PC and leave the One version in the dust. That's obviously false and both look amazing.

If you ponies are so much into FX then why not go to PC which just kills any console and can be upped the better you're PC is,most people buying consoles do not care much about FX because if they did they would go the PC route,it's that simple,PS3 had better tech yet the 360 out sold them with just about every 3rd party game minus a few fighting game's.

Enjoy what you have or save up and buy both,it's that simple,MP for BF4 for PS4 and X1 look's like total garbage anyways why argue over it.

I may be wrong, but I don't remember Sony ever saying that the PS4 was 50% more powerful than the Xbox One, people just worked it out after Microsoft and Sony both released their consoles specs. Saying that the console is 50% more powerful is a massive exaggeration, but Sony's console is clearly more powerful when we compare the specs for both consoles. On the other hand "the power of the cloud" was a marketing tool that was constantly used by Microsoft to promote the Xbox One.

While this game if almost identical on both platforms, there is no doubt that the console specs for PS4 is more powerful, and developers have said that it is easier to program for. Right now I don't think we can be sure that the cloud is as powerful as Microsoft says it is, we will have to wait until more developers use it and we are able to experience it first hand. It might be a revolution in the gaming industry, or it might be like the original Kinect. Only time will tell.

I am impressed the infinite power of the cloud can do 720p at a almost stable 60 fps!!

They had to dummy down the code to make it even run on the x1. This also affected the PS 4 version. If the game were exclusive to the PS4 it would be much better. So in a way ,the lack of x1 power will effect evey multi plat game for PS4 buyers. The true test will be with second gen exclusives. I hope both platforms succeed , but if you really think that x1 can do for games what the PS4 will be capable of doing you,re crazy.
