It really quelled the 4K pipe dream too many people were having. I'm just glad people are being a little more realistic now.

Neither of these companies is delivering anything even remotely near what people were probably expecting.


This generation just went on too long. These systems might have been acceptable after 5 years but after 8 years people are probably expecting more of a drastic increase. I mean the xbox one and ps4 will definitely be an improvement but not really revolutionary. These consoles are more like holdovers until 4k and whatever other new tv technologies are out there become more accessible to people.

Its known as diminishing returns...next gen will likely be more disappointing if you feel that way now
