To those underestimating the Cloud

I think it's funny so many young minds who have seen such technological growth in the world are sounding like ignorant backwater hillbillys when it comes to the future of the Cloud. The cloud really is the future, so many big companies are putting billions into Cloud services. Just because of the fact that so many big companies are working on this should tell you it's got ridiculous potential. It may be 5 to 10 years before it is all completely realized, but once it happens we will see a big turn for the better when it comes to all forms of entertainment.

Do you live in the year 2006 or something? Because it's already everywhere.

TC. The cloud as in the way MS said it would be incorporated is BS. Cloud SERVICES on the other hand have been around for years.

I just watched the IGN Forza video and they are using the Cloud for their Drivators (Sp) AI functionality.

I will try and see it from your point of view, but I doubt we'll be able to fit both our heads up there.

I am not sure of the future possibilities but to just discount it seems a bit short-sighted.

When you actually look up the speeds needed to do that, it makes it look like MS straight up lied. No matter how awesome it sounds in therory. The infrastructure simply cannot support mass computing on that level. It was marketing hype. That's it.
