(I own 1080p TV and not defending One's power gap) How many people have 1080p?

I'm not talking about people on Gamefaqs or on this board, I'm just curious what that real world statistics are.

It seems to me that the average family in developed countries has 720p TVs, from when flat screen started becoming cheap across the board. Could be dead wrong. I'd be interested to see how the numbers play out as they may have influenced MS/Sony to not be so concerned about 1080p being native.

I do. 46" Sony XBR. And I'm annoyed at the 720p thing. I hate jaggies >_<

No only got 720p for now, looking to upgrade possibly around black friday.

Not sure, myself. But the average family's tech and the average gamers' tech are probably a little different. Particularly core gamers who buy X1s and PS4s.

I have one. It's only a 24" though. According to what I've seen posted here, with a tv of this size, I won't be able to see the difference between 1080p and 720p.

I have a 4k tv and 1080p led tv. Would never ever go back to a lower resolution
