Yesterday, we had the chance to speak with Microsoft’s Albert Penello about the Xbox One dashboard. During our conversation, he confirmed that the entertainment app offerings won’t be pre-loaded on your console, and users will be able to choose which to install. Now we have the list of which will be available on November 22.

The list varies depending on which territory you’re in, but here’s the rundown for the United States:

Amazon Instant Video
Crackle
CWTV
ESPN
FOX NOW
FXNOW
HBO GO (coming soon)
Hulu Plus
Machinima
MUZU TV
Netflix
Redbox Instant by Verizon
Target Ticket
TED
The NFL on Xbox One
Twitch
Univision Deportes
Verizon FiOS TV
VUDU
In addition, every territory will have access to a variety of first party apps. These include Xbox Fitness, Xbox Video, Xbox Music, Internet Explorer, SkyDrive, Skype, and Upload.

These apps will appear in your “One Guide” so you’ll be able to easily peruse your queues and current offerings. For more on the Xbox One user interface, check out a twelve minute video, our general impressions, and a list of six interesting usability features.

fair enough, but at the same time at least question why its behind a paywall...

Smart TVs and Media boxes have gotten cheaper, to me this will deter potential buyers(smart shoppers who do research). You can buy a $99 box if you don;t have a smart TV for media stuff, compared to a $500 device + $30-$60/year(taking account of specials/deals).
