So, why would they do this?
It seems to be harder to use unless you're left handed.

Is this part of the innovation or is there another reason?

If you want the disc on the right just flip the case and reinsert the cover and there you go. To me it won't matter as the game I'm playing will be in the system most of the time.

I'm just wondering why they would do this, if there is some technical reason as to why they would change it after all these years.
And of course what people think about the change.

Come on SoulCra...I mean SoulTrapper, this is awfully trivial.

PROTIP: They're doing this to appeal to Asian markets, because text is read from right-to-left, and in most cases, books and DVD cases open from right-to-left.

You're awesome.

I would say the company that made those told MS they would only charge them 9 cents a case instead of the 10 cents another company charges. Boom, the design changes.

The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact.
Everything else, is theory.

Come on Bronze Noob, this is just asking a question about some of MSs innovative new case design.
There has to be a reason for it, right?

Just being an ass.

Yeah it is odd.

They must have changed it because the current case seems to be harder to use unless you're right handed

True, maybe they'll offer special left handed and right handed editions.
