Is it worth it to get a used 360 to replace the one I have?

The one I currently have has trouble reading discs, it needs some... Manual persuasion to get it to read anything.

NO!

Do not buy a used Xbox 360! Just buy a new one. You don't know what you are getting with a used model, poor disk drive, console banning, overheated and damaged motors. The $180 to $200 you spend now will be worth it in the long run.

The Xbox One can only run most games in the 720P visual standard. Perhaps it should have been called the XBOX 720 after all.

Aye I probably should've said new as well, cause that's more what I was leaning towards. I figured I'd wait until after the Xbox One releases..

My 360 is dying as well (my 2nd one in 8 years)...

I'm leaving it until later - chances are the next gen launches will see price drops on 360/PS3...

i'd get a new one next year if I were you TC... And probably will.
