Make a list of the games that you are interested in, and pick the list that you like most.
The big question is, will you be able to afford time to play games or Remote Play games?

I could see remote play being cool if it could be used for people who have a lengthy daily commute on public transportation, but it doesn't work without wifi so I don't really see any situation where I'd use it.

I would wait awhile to see how things turn out. If budget is a concern might as well get the console that is cheaper, and have some good looking free games coming like Drive Club, DCUO, and Planetside 2. Plus all the freebies/cheap deals from PS+.

Go with the system that has the exclusives you want. If you want power, pc is the only.option.

pc is the only option for people wanting to spend a grand + for everything ps4 and xbone cant achieve

ps4 will give you the best multiplatform games
if it doesnt there is some sort of a conspiracy going on
its specs are enough to make this happen

xbone is for xbox exclusives, controller, XBL, apps and tv
ps4 for exclusives, better multiplats, controller?, psn if they improve it

wait a couple months to see what you like
i am waiting to see how the hardware holds up

You don't need to spend a grand for a gaming PC that beats the PS4 on multiplats. You overestimate its power.

I agree with your last paragraph though.
