Xbox One > PS4 for CoD: Ghosts

Gies, the master of shilling it up for MS, probably had a say in this review.

Not to mention MS giving Polygon $750,000 to make a silly documentary.

Moneyhats confirmed. Can't even give the PS4 version of BF4 a higher score even though it has the superior visuals AND framerate in both single player and multiplayer.

I don't see any appreciable difference in the video between either next-gen version, resolution or framerate. Granted, it's youtube, but I think it's a draw when you're actually playing.

The difference between looking at a video on a monitor and actually playing on a TV is quite different. This is because every TV can display something very differently.

There is a reason why 1080p TVs are agreed to be better in picture quality than 720p TVs in any size, the pixel density is more noticed the larger the display gets.

Polygon may not notice the difference, but it's clear IGN and VideoGamer have both said the increased resolution results in a much sharper picture and that's expected.

Fixed. Perhaps you all missed that X1 video of COD with massive framedrops just by panning the map.

I know what you mean in theory... but I'm not so sure any differences would bother me much even when playing. I'm just not that fussed about a lot of things that are apparently a big deal to some people these days.

Framerate >>>>>>>>>>>> resolution, so I'd agree.

With that said, Ghosts isn't a good game on any platform, so it doesn't really matter.

"Multiplayer also looks demonstrably worse than in the PS4 version, with similar problems afflicting the look of the game. Mechanically it is identical, and at least the game ran stable enough to keep me blaming myself and not the frame rate for any kills I may have suffered. (Although I had no problems with the PS4 build, some users are reporting frame rate issues on Sony's machine.)"
