I believe it should have. Halo 4 definitely felt very unfinished and rushed. No competiive rank off the bat, weapon tuning update that could have been avoided with Beta Testing, and lack of maps are just some of the factors that suggest this game could have waited one more year.

Plus, who doesn't love a good ole' launch Halo? Would have kept you busy until Halo 5 as well.

No, Halo was cooler when it was TRIBES!

No. But Gears Judgment probably should have been. It was a rushed mess. That extra time would have done it some good and boosted Xbox One sales.

I think a new Halo trilogy would've been wise to kick-off on a new console. Not to mention the additional hype the launch would have if Halo was there.

I think having CoD, Battlefield and Halo all out on the same day would've been FPS overkill.

Halo 4 was great.

Halo 4 was 343 showing that they were up to the awesome task of taking the reigns on a great franchise. The last Halo game on a great system. It came at a good time, there's plenty of other games right now to keep us satisfied until the next release of Halo.

Halo 4 launching on the Xbox One could only have been good. I see no negative reprucussions from it. The only thing that would have been an issue was how Reach left a nasty taste in many fans' mouths.

No, but they definitely should have had a Halo 2 remake ready to go at launch.

Halo 4 looked remarkable on the 360, and was a much needed exclusive during this slump these past two years.

It's time for The Arbitor to make his triumphant return. Either in a Halo 2 remake (doubtful) or as the next installment.

Good yes but marketing wise no. By delaying it they can setup another great 2014 holiday season and get more consoles out. If you release all of your big titles right at launch, by the time April or May hits gamers will be itching for something new.

Forza and Dead Rising this year, Halo and Fable next year. It lets you know as a buyer that there are great games for you to play now, and there will be great games for you coming up. And regardless of what the fanboys want to say, Halo sells systems.
