I just wish they stuck with those initial policy's that they revealed at E3.

Liked it then, like it now. Although I used to be fully on-board with the 24 hour check in, but the more I think about it the happier I am that it's gone.

Mine changed for the positive and I am man enough to admit it. I was one of those people who were LOL'ing at Microsoft's bad PR moves and presentations with the Xbox One before and after E3 and their console presentation. However, that began to change as they started changing their stance on their greed and providing us with some high quality launch games that started to look attractive once my hate glasses were off.

Wow, so many more negatives. I'm surprised, I thought people hated the always connected original X1? Oh wait, I forgot for a moment that this board is infested with trolls...

Same here, but eh, it's all good. I'm still happy with it.
Hopefully the line won't be atrocious tomorrow night for the PS4.... :/

I was one of the few who actually liked how the Xbox One looked around the first reveal. I was expecting them to make a crappy and limited gaming PC that relies on bribing game developers for exclusivity in a last desperate attempt to justify it's existence. The Kinect looked very cool and the Family Sharing was something new that would be very much needed in gaming right now.

They then quickly started to take the console back to the crap pointless device direction with the removal of Family Sharing and less focus on Kinect. E3 basically nailed it: the focus was not on the hardware being good on it's own + games that take advantage of it in interesting ways. They chose the good ole "coerce gamers into buying questionable electronics with exclusives whose exclusivity has nothing to do with the properties of the device" tactic, which also happens to ruin the games themselves in the process (720p, no AA, sub 30 fps DR3 etc).

While I've still no plan on buying it, it's turned from "not ever touching with a barge pole" to "doesn't interest me yet, but defo worth keeping an eye on".
