I'm going to be using an HD monitor with no speakers for my Xbone, and need a good enough way to get audio. The monitor itself has no speaker, and the headphone jack on it loses much of the bass.

I can't do anything too expensive, so I was thinking of maybe getting a toslink to 3.5mm cable and plugging my PC headset into them. Would this work well enough? I'm not that much of an audiophile so I don't need anything excessive. As long as I get good enough sounding audio I'm good.

I don't have the room for speakers, nor would I be able to since I need something that won't be loud for others.

Hmmm... I feel like you would need to get the audio from the optical audio out on the back of the system. The headset adapter wont be out at launch.

I figure I'll just wear both the chat headset and the sound headset at the same time.

So I'll have the optical audio cable coming out of the Xbone with an optical audio to 3.5mm cable, then into the headset.

Would this work well enough and provide good enough audio?
