Earlier this morning Ubisoft broke news that the PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will not be running in a native 1080p but rather 900p unscaled. This news was quickly followed up with the potential for a patch allowing the game to run at a true resolution.

I see you don't know what the definition of potential means.

I Just wish they didn't rush these games out so they can both come out at full resolution and wouldn't need day one patches.

I finally spent some time watching the comparison videos of CoD Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and AC4. I cannot tell a difference at all, except for the color temp. I need to see them on a big TV to compare accurately. It make no difference in the end. Good games are still going to be good games no matter what console you play it on.

All I know is AC4 looks really juicy with the foliage reacting to the environment, the lighting, and the water effects. And that's a launch title. We are all going to be enjoying some beautifully immersive gaming for the rest of our lives starting this month. The future is now.

Multiplats will always perform worse on the Xbone. No need for comparisons.

That's right folks history repeats itself, AC4 on PS is going to be 900p Native upscaled to 1080p, but later patched to be 1080p native, Xbox One to stay 900p.

Im actually proud of you for once not slamming the ps4, this is the most unbiased ive seen you.

I take it you do accept performance can be enhanced via a patch now, unlike in that topic you made?

I may have to re assess how civil I am toward you, now that you seem to be behaving adult like.

What an ignorant statement. It's like you just weren't even around for the PS3 and 360.
