Buy a WiiU basically for the Nintendo games. 3rd party support is going to lack like it always has considering most PS4 and X1 games will be interchangeable while the WiiU (Like the Wii) will need it's own special version of a game which most 3rd parties aren't willing to do anymore. Considering Madden which sells stupidly high on anything didn't have a WiiU version made for it's last game should tell you how 3rd party support is going to look for the WiiU lifespan.

Buy Nintendo only if you want Nintendo games. It's a Niche console for those who want the uniqueness only it offers.

I am enjoying my Wii U and my wife really likes zelda and Mario games. For me Nintendo first party titles are enough to keep the system. I will get XboxOne and PS4 in 2014, I am still enjoying Xbox360 games.

Well at first I thought third party might do cool stuff with the gamepad, but i was very wrong. Then I figured Id keep it for nintendo exclusives, but they are so few and far between. They lack replay value due to having no online.

Change Gamepad to Kinect and this will be the Xbox One's problem.

The exclusives will get better with a lot of big Nintendo titles coming out soon or by mid year in 2014. But yeah the online part does seem horrible but I expect it to improve as they get more sales going. I think they went with the idea of kids who don't go online and just have friends over to play like the old days.

It depends. Have you put in your mandatory 1000 hours into MH3U yet?
