How much will Nintendo affect the Xbox One's sales?

Nintendo is releasing games from their biggest titles along side the Xbox One. How badly will this hinder Microsoft's sales? At least they will have someone to blame when they don't sell more than the PS4.

As someone who is Pro-Nintendo, it most likely won't effect it enough to show any sizable decrease in sales. It IS only a game.

As far as Zelda goes, handheld sofware sales usually don't tie into console hardware, different market, won't hurt X1 at all. It's a $40 game, if you have $500 for a console you have money for both or possibly don't even care about handhelds.

As far as Wii U and Mario, well that's just a single game, sure it's Mario but it won't push a crazy amount of consoles and also won't steal any sales from X1.

Conclusion: zero affect.

I get the feeling that so many Wii U's were sold back to Gamestop today that it really won't matter.

It wont effect the sales one little bit.
Those people who were going to buy an X1 still will buy an X1 and those who were going to buy the Nintendo games still will.

Nintendo is irrelevant as far as console competition goes at the moment. So the Xbox One has nothing to worry about.
