Forza might be the best launch title since Mario 64.

I'm comparing racing sim to racing sim? I'm not cherry picking review scores, you are the one that brought it up and hold it as your only argument in saying Forza is a better franchise while ignoring everything else? What?

You're saying it's better because it beats Forza in user reviews for one of its past two games... which was released for the PS2. Whereas Forza 2 beats it there and Forza 3 and 4 both beat GT5 in both user and critic scores.

That's some extreme cherry picking.

Nop you totally ignored that I said it's better due to many things not just reviews, like fanbase, copies sold, my personal experience, history of racing sims, nop you totally and convincingly ignored all that because you hold reviews score as your only and true argument.

Nothing to do with how you were cherry picking review scores.

Nop you cherry picked it since that's your only argument, you know, picking one from a bunch of your invisible rebuttals.

I don't think you played GT, try wall walk in GT4 mission mode, try wall walk A spec endurance race, you can wall walk because your car is way over powered in terms of power/weight ratio which gets you no A spec points at all.

Have you actually sat through the 6 hr endurance races in GT3 I have and it was tiring to say the least and I loved it... Now your saying GT is only a SIM on endurance races? Because on shorter races I can wall walk every race with no damage to tires, trans, engine, brakes nothing... Now that's a great SIM.. and with GT its been getting worse and worse, not better... Especially the static AI that never does anything but follow radiotherapy through the preferred line...

It seems you don't really know what SIM should mean and play like... I suggest you try some Forza ... Sorry dude, GT just has posts it touch, especially with the stiff competition with Forza... Ironic honestly

@Ch3wy

A legit question would be what you got instead of reviews scores? That one didn't even get you far anyway, forza 3 and 4 beats GT5, GT4 beat both forza 3 and 4, seems like GT4 is still the best game for gamers.

Try again, played A-spec 24h endurance in GT4, you can wall walk in career mode because you can bring in highly overpowered cars to the event, some of them don;t have restriction, some only requires you to have specific class. Mission mode use predetermined cars and truly separate hardcore racing sim gamer from the casual. Completing a 24h A-spec endurance is a feat in it self let alone placing well.

So your proving my point? I don't understand how you think wall walking is ok, in a SIM racer... I guess I should be seeing wall walking in touring series in real life because it can happen in GT... The ultimate SIM...

I guess thanks, for proving my point I guess... *mind blown*

It's very funny to see complaining about difficulty when you have a casual gamer's goal on your mind which is to power your way through event mode, how about try gold all your license, complete every mission on gold and 1st place in all 24h endurance mode and see if your complaints hold true in these modes? Nop you only complain about the game because it caters to both casual and hardcore?

Like I said, what you are doing is a casual complaining about a feature that is the game caters to the casual, your complaints don't hold true in any mode besides career mode which you can power through with overpowered cars. GT is already hardcore enough, if they don't make these casual features you won't play it, I suggest you stay with Forza.
